UAE Trekkers Payment and Refund Policy

Company Cancellation

If UAE Trekkers must cancel a trip due to insufficient numbers, you will receive one of the following: a full refund, credit towards future trips, or a spot on the next scheduled trip.

If weather conditions, authority permits, or other exceptional extenuating circumstances beyond our control require UAE Trekkers to cut short or amend the itinerary of a trip, you are not entitled to a refund.

UAE Trekkers requires all participants to purchase Travel Insurance for this possibility.


For Trips in the UAE and Oman:

Payment Schedule

All UAE and Oman based treks full payment is due within 48 hours of booking.

Member Cancellation

For a full cash refund, you must cancel 20 days before the trip is scheduled to depart.

If you must cancel less than 20 days but more than 10 days prior to departure, you can receive full company credit for participation in future trek.

Any cancellations (regardless of reason) less than 10 days in advance of a trip will incur full charges; no refunds and no future trip credit will be issued.

For International Trips (outside the UAE and Oman):

Payment Schedule

A one-time, non-refundable deposit of 1,000 AED is required at the time of booking to secure a position for a trek.

Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure, otherwise full payment is due immediately.

Member Cancellation

Before 30 days of trip departure, members are entitled to a full refund minus the 1,000 AED deposit and bank charges to return the remaining balance.

Cancellations less than 30 days prior to departure will incur full price charges and no refund will be issued.
