Experience two East African countries in 5 days. This is a once in a lifetime trip. Tracking the gorillas is a 6-7 hour trek through thick jungle, possibly in the rain. We will also track the golden monkeys in Rwanda and climb the Karisimbi mountain on the border with DR Congo to see Diane Fossey’s camp, and the gorilla grave site.  We will also ride a traditional dugout canoe across Lake Utanda and say in a zero carbon emissions award winning lodge on the border of the Congo.

While we are in Uganda, we believe that tourists to remote villages in Africa should do their best to give something back to the community.  Each trek we offer a new way to support the community that in the past has ranged from simple donations and helping the school, to planting trees, donating water tanks to the schools and supporting causes that we believe in such as www.daysforgirls.org.

Kids can join, but must be 13 years old to track the gorillas.
