Enjoy the spectacular sunrise at Poon Hill, walk through the dense rhododendron forest, and enjoy the hospitality of the local people on this 3-day trekking adventure at the base of the Himalayan mountain range.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrive to Kathmandu, overnight

DAY 2: Fly to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul (1.5 hours) and trek to Hile

Hours Walking: 4
Difficulty: Easy to moderate.
Elevation reached: 1540m.
Terrain: Gentle inclines, well defined paths, riverbank trails.
Description: We start our trek in Nayapul and hike through farm land, villages, and passing through rhododendron forest before reaching our destination . Along the way we will enjoy the views of the towering, snow-capped Annapurna range. Overnight: Tea House in Hile

DAY 3: Hile to Ghorepani
Hours walking: 6.5
Difficulty: Moderate to difficult.
Elevation reached: 2810m
Terrain: Stone staircase, steep inclines.
Description: Today we gain over 1000m of elevation beginning right after we cross the suspension bridge in Bhurungdi Khola and are greeted by the more than 3300 steps to the Magar village of Ulleri. Yes, more than 3300 steps to Ulleri! The trail continues to gently climb through oak and rhododendron forests, passes by streams, and continues to delight hikers with stunning views of the Himalayans. Overnight: Tea House in Ghorepani.

DAY 4: Poon Hill and Tadhapani.

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult.
Elevation reached: Poon Hill (3210m) and Tadhapani (2700m)
Terrain: Steep, hilly descents and jungle paths.
Details: This is what we’ve hiked toward, an amazing sunrise, panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges! We will begin our trek an hour before sunrise to reach the top of Poon Hill. After spending as much time as we need at the top, we will begin our descent taking a small detour through the village of Durali and the where we’ll see an abundance of langur monkeys before heading back to Pokahara. Overnight in Pokahara.

DAY 5: Return to Dubai.

Nepal Tourist Visa can be obtained online or issued upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Please check http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa for the latest prices and regulations. Visa’s are not included in the tour price.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their passport is up-to-date. Countries can and will deny travelers entry if a passport has less than six months before it expires. This is the clients responsibility.
