Traditional Nubian Experience
Live on the west side of the Nile, experience an authentic Nubian atmosphere, taste Nubian food and enjoy genuine hospitality!
A quiet place to enjoy nature and relax. But if exploring is you thing, you can look forward to kayaking, beach outings, trips to historical landmarks and even expeditions on camels!
You will not see a single car once you arrive, moving only by feluca (boat) and by camel. The rooms are all 5-star hotel standard, this is simply not a hotel, its a village specifically designed for tourists but with a local, unique style. Its just unlike anything you have experienced.
You will leave Dubai this morning before 10:00 am and connect in Cairo; arriving in Aswan at around 2 pm. You won’t touch a car for the weekend, you will only be transported by the Feluca (boat) and by Camel.
In the late afternoon you will take a feluca ride under the Aswan Dam to reach the Temple of Philae for the sound and light show heading back on the Anakato Nubian Houses.
Friday: Day on the Nile
Sit on the upper deck and enjoy the Nile breeze while you cruise towards North. Take a Nile mineral mud mask, to ionize your body. Following this, you can earth to correct your pulse with the ancient Sand Burying technique, to heal many disorders and ailments. Bring your swimsuits. Tour around the beach in our kayaks or slide on the golden sands of Nubia using our sand boarding tools. We will also be trekking around 4 km in the desert to reach an island that we will have lunch on.
Saturday: Lake Nasser
Above the dam on Lake Nasser you will again take a boat for the tour to Abu Simbel. You are most definitely on search for crocodiles! Later in the day, you will visit a small museum where you will meet some small ones. Settle in Friday night with Anakato Yoga Flow and the whole Nubian evening experience.
Sunday: The Elephantine Village Trek
Take a boat taxi to another untouched Nubian Village, the Elephantine Village. This is like walking back to old Nubian History... meander around the village meeting the locals with our guide, have mint tea at one of the houses, spend time at the museum.
